My 04 titan doesn't have a tranny temp gauge, even though it has the big tow package. I ordered one in addition to my PML aluminum extra capacity tranny pan. I also ordered a gauge mounting cup, planning to put it somewhere on top of my dash. That didn't happen. I noticed a "plug" on the dash where some instrument or switch was supposed to be. I checked my manual and found that if I had 4WD there would be a switch there. I removed the plug and wrapped enough masking tape around the back of my gauge until it made a snug friction fit. It is low enough that it won't distract me at night and it can still be seen by glancing down at it. As a bonus, there are no exposed wires. I think it looks good where it is, almost like it was meant to be there.

Looks good. And ya I would try and find something to hide those gaps
