went to tighten my PRG tranny mount and found this..... What is it!!! I know it is probably a blown seal. Can I do it myself or is it going to be a dealer fix?? What is involved, I'm pretty mechanically inclined, just not on gears or anything like that.

Nothing special I would imagine. $10-15 seal and a seal puller should fix it. I will try and find some write up.

That on the front diff? Looks like the front pinion seal. You can fix it if you have the tools or you're looking at a 200-300 dollar fix from a shop. I paid $285 to have mine fixed (would have spent that in tools) with a 5 year warranty from a local shop.

Search pinion seal, there's a thread on how to replace it.

Yours looks like it might be leaking a little more than mine was. Mine mainly got all over the diff.

Yea. A write up will help. Dealer quoted $400.

Well I found a good post on how to do replace it. Does anyone know of a torque value of the pinion nut??

Keep in mind there is no after market seal, you have to get one from the dealer ~$65..... But an easy fix

Picked up the seal from the dealer today. $65. Ridiculous. I'm going to tackle it this weekend. I'm just pissed I changed the fluid out (AMSOIL) last month ? I'm going to try and salvage as much of it as I can. I'm just nervous about the whole preload thing.

Fixed! No leaks yet. Thanks for the info! That seal almost kicked my *** getting it out. Bent up my seal puller...
