Can someone please measure the thickness from top to bottom of the front OEM tow hooks at the mounting holes?

I'm installing a OEM Pro-4X front skidplate on my Titan that doesn't have the off road package or tow hooks. I have now realized that the tow hooks are necessary to mount the skidplate brackets at the proper position. I don't want to spend the ~$100 for new tow hooks so I'm most likely going to make a few spacers instead. I just need the measurements from someone with the tow hooks.

Alternatively, if anyone has a set of tow hooks collecting dust, I would be interested in buying them if the price is right. :big_grin:

I was lazy and just jammed a tape measure in there but I measured at half an inch.

Thanks Lax. I tried using some 1/2" thick nuts but it seems like it needs a bit more. Somewhere around 5/8" or 3/4" I'm guessing. I'm most likely going to have a machine shop cut me something which is why I'm trying to get the exact measurement.

My best estimate is 3/4'' at the rear bolt and a little thinner at the front bolt, which I couldn't reach cause of the bottom of the bumper.

I can't say for sure since I couldn't reach the front one, but that is what it looks like. I'd say go with four 3/4'' spacers and grind them down if needed. I could try to unbolt one tomorrow to get more precise measurements. That is if the bolts aren't too rusted to break loose.

I'm sorry. I guessed wrong. Tow hook thickness is 19.5 mm at both bolts. Translates to 0.77'' so just over 3/4''
