As of right now everything before my y-pipe is stock. After the y-pipe there is another pipe, then my dumped borla.

My plan is to have a shop pull off the whole thing (cats included). Then have pipes run off the headers (to keep the cats away from the headers, too many horror stories lol), down to the cats, then flip my muffler to a DISO dumped in the same spot. I want that stupid crushed up y-pipe gone. I also want to keep the pipes 2.5".

Anybody have a clue how much that would cost? Need some help! :kiss:

Anybody? I read that the cats are welded onto the headers... Is that true?

welded onto the manifolds, yes.
i had new cats flanged onto my jba's

Would it be safe to have them pulled off of the headers? That's my only concern with moving them

As long as the cats on there, thats all that matters. Too close to the manifolds is not an issue...

There's been some issues with cats coming apart and being sucked back in... I think I'll just leave them there. I'm going to try to do everything but the cats and with 2.25" pipes. I'm hoping it'll only be about 100$...

After 3rd set of manifolds which Nissan paid for I got the lt pace setters haven't looked back got little better mph too
