Need opinions on MTX Thunderform enclosures?

I like the concept of a prefab enclosure that is loaded with Subs and an amp. It also looks like it would install cleanly and look nice.

My questions is how does it sound? I have never heard one of these setups before, so I am concerned about the quality. Seems a little good to be true.

Another pice of junk enclosure . Sorry I know no other way to say it.
Yes they look nice, they are clean and usually follow the contours of the vehicle but they often dont sound as good as they look. The other problem is that they charge a premium for these enclosures because they cost a lot of money to R+D for every vehicle. Because of this they typically put lower grade stuff in them but still charge a premium price. You could do a lot better having a box custom made with the type of music you like in mind. The price will be about the same but you will get a lot better components and a sub box that will hold up for a long time.

James (tech12volts) makes awesome boxes and sells everything you need for them. He has a few package deals going on right now that would destroy any premade box loaded or not for stupid money (too cheap). Read about them from some of his customers and see what they think.

Oh boy... Bottom line, these enclosures are garbage. MTX subs aren't exactly the best either. The box is plastic and is pretty small. MTX subs love large enclosures so this isn't the best environment for any of their subs and if you plan on replacing the subs you only have about 4.5" of mounting depth to play with. The box is the same for both the King Cab and Crew cab which is gay considering they are different trucks. My vote is NO. If you want quality, hit up tech12volt. He can hook you up with whatever you need.
