So after 175xxx miles manifolds finally crapped out. Been looking into Cajun stage 1 sounds very enticing but on the other hand I have a chance to get 2nd hand manifolds no cracks for 400. No brainer for the wallet is the manifolds but don't wanna replace again I've read the horror stories of 4x4 installs. In yalls expert opinion worth the risk or get the headers even with the high mileage I have but I do maintain my truck very meticulously.

I just did my Cajun uprev tune (almost complete) and the difference is great. Had my manifolds replaced under fed warranty last October. Won't need to do headers for a while. I want to do them sooner than later as I could sell my under 10k stocks to offset some of the cost. Also to make the truck sound that much more evil. I don't know if it's just me, but I think my truck has a lot of little more bark from the exhaust. I think it is a bit louder, my wife thinks I'm crazy.

Thing is how many miles on these second hand manifolds? can u trust the source they're coming from? I mean I sell jba longtube headers for 455 shipped but u need uprev to run them, some have been fine without it but I don't reccomend due to afrs and ecu acting up trying to compensate.

Just give Cajun a call. He has nothing hidden in his packages or pricing. When you get his kit, you get the headers, bpipes and the uprev with tuning.
No one else offers such a complete package and his customer service is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!
Joe does the tuning and you get the best of the best.

I would most definitely recommend going all the way. I have a 2010 Pro 4x. Do I need to mention cracked exhaust manifolds. I just installed the JBA Lt's with 2.5 Cajun catted B-Pipes and UpRev. It is an investment, but well worth it if you plan on keeping the truck. You will not believe the gain in performance. I absolutely love the way my truck performs. Jeff at Cajun and Joe at UpRev will steer you right. Great people!

Manifolds why not? They fail and the LABOR is what will kill you either doing it yourself or paying to have it done twice. The Stage 1 is the best and cheapest fix on the market that will last. Please do your research before you spend a dime

Trust me I have been doing the research nonstop the manifolds only have 12k on them but drank on it some an am going to go with headers don't wanna do it twice. I don't care about the power I swear mine is a factory freak cause it runs great without leaky manifolds an big heavy tires loaded tool box an cow smasher bumper. Not to mention I'm a hefty guy as well.

Visual in Texas? Never heard of that just the OBD and sniffer in certain areas. If it's visual your in trouble with headers, I would check to make sure. The stage 1 is all over Texas with no emission failures reported to me.
