Hello EVERYONE...!!!
Not to discourage everyone who already drive a NISSAN, but for future reference, NEVER BUY A NISSAN.
I have driven Nissan's for the past 10 years.
(1997 Pathfinder, 2000 Infiniti I30t, 2004 Titan SE KC, 2006 Infiniti M35x)
'97 Nissan pathfinder was GREAT! it was reliable and long lasting truck.
2000 I30t was okay.. it had few problems here and there...
2004 Titan is TERRIBLE!!! (I still have it) and the engine dies on hwy speed. The truck just shuts off whenever it feels like and NISSAN can't solve the problem. When the engine dies: i have no power steering and my ABS kicks in!!!! basically making it impossible for me to stop the 5000lbs truck! So I have to quickly shift it into NEUTRUAL and start the car while its rolling on the hwy.... THAT is un-heard of!!! I tried doing everything and until the warranty ran out they contiuned to replace parts (ECU, Throttle body etc), which did absoultly nothing, and when the warranty did ran out, they said they are not responsible anymore. They left me with the problem which started 3 months after I bought the truck. NEVER seen a vehicle with that many problems and that many recalls!!!
My truck continues to have the same problem, and sometimes it wont even start. it will crank but it wont start. FOB, FUEL PUMP, ETC... are all not the problem. ALL titan's are a LEMON!!! I have a friend who drives a INFINITI QX56 and he is experiencing the same problem.
also RECENTLY my SHIFT LOCK is acting up. it wont move from park.
It is the FIRST FULL SIZE PICK UP TRUCK that NISSAN has ever made, and they suck big time. HAS ANYONE SEEN A TOYOTA TUNDRA having these problems? (I think NOT!!!)
My 2006 M35x has a numerous PROBLEMS!!! Lucky that the warranty on INFINITI'S are longer...
Every since NISSAN changed there design & support team back in 2002, all there cars are garbage. it is not the top 3 vehicle any more. and we never see nissan receiving awards or on the cover page of the magazines anymore.
NISSAN TITAN is an AMERICAN TRUCK.. not MADE IN JAPAN....it is MADE IN USA.
