Just got an 06 Titan Crew Cab LE. Love it so far, but I have two questions.

1. Should "Tow Mode" be used if I'm only hauling a 1500 utility trailer? In City or Highway.

2. I found a wire harness is the glove box, looks like the trailer brake harness of some sort. All it is is the harness, nothing to connect to it, just wire ends. I understand that the connector goes under the dash, I've seen some of the thread, but what do the other ends plug into?

Thanks,
Jake

p.s. Love TITANTALK!!

The harness is used for a brake controller if you pull a trailer with electric brakes. There is a plug tied under the dash on the drivers side. Mine was tied up with a rubber band. You plug the connector end to the plug then hook the wires to your brake controller harness.I usually do not use tow mode for those light treailers but it is really up to you.

for that much weight, tow mode doesnt really matter...the truck should have no prob pulling that around.

So what does Tow Mode actually do? Does it hurt to run in tow mode while not towing anything?
