So I was watching the Anaheim Ducks game tonight and I saw a new Nissan commercial. It was basically a couple Nissan truck owners (Frontier and Titan) talking about how much they love their Nissan trucks and how tough and rugged their trucks are. The also touched on the fully boxed frame through the whole length of the truck and how it really moved when you get on the gas. Much different than all their other ones I've seen for their trucks. I think its finally a step in the right direction for advertising our Titan (and Frontier too I guess).

Nice, I wouldn't mind seeing that commercial. The only one I see around here is the one with the Titan frame connected to the locomotive. That is by far the stupidest commercial I've seen to advertise any truck frame. I hope they change their approach to advertisement because they sure as hell aren't going to get any buyers based off that commerical.

Yeah, whoopie, the frame is stronger than the chain!!! Which it should be for pete's sake.:gay:

I haven't seen a commercial that I've liked yet. They did do a good job on the Rogue commercials though. We need those people to do one for the Titan. Maybe we should get Howie Long or Mike Rowe?!?!:rollingsm

I liked the one where the Titan & F150 were hanging upside down with a bike in the bed & tailgate closed on the Titan. It was advertising the longer bed, and utili-trac.

I just saw the commercial Desertrunner is talking about a couple days ago, but that is the first Titan commercial i've seen in probably 6 months.

I want to see that new one, sounds like it might be pretty descent. I think their best commercial has been one where is shows the truck driving in the rough dirt and all with I think?? black Sabbath playing in the background. Then at the end of the commercial the guys watching it rewind it on their tivo to watch it again. i thought that was very clever and drew some good attention. To bad they didnt play it longer.

Hopefully Nissan will at least play one Titan commercial during the Superbowel, I don't want to have to sit through all those F-150 commercials with my Ford friends.

At least you guys are seeing commercials. I bet I have not seen a Titan commercial in a year.
The total TV coverage I have seen the Titan get in 4 years from Nissan was trumped last month in one fell swoop by the TV coverage from California about the car chase that had a Titan in it.

Sad really, just plain sad Nissan.

They really need a new approach. I think they dropped the ball with advertising and that may be the reason the Titan is dicontinued soon. They needed to show people how the Titan is superior to the domestics. Maybe a commercial showing how much faster it is. Maybe another one showing how it is really the only off road capable truck half ton out there. Possibly showing it pulling a stuck Silverado out of the mud?
I had two GMC Sierra's previous to my Titan. The reason I bought the Titan is because the drivetrain is superior and the fact that Nissan did not forget that trucks should have ground clearance. GM makes me sick with how low they build their trucks.
Off road capability is what makes a truck a truck in my opinion. Nissan could have made the other "low rider" 4X4's look pretty wimpy, but they didn't. Now they are paying the price with sales.

Yeah thats a badass commercial!!!! They need to make it longer and show off more ofthe truck. And play it all day long! That will surely get titan sales up...

I don't think the commercial content (at this point) is important. Just flood the media with Titan commercials...PERIOD. Get the name out there enough to get people into showrooms. You think it was the Toyota name that's getting the usual big 3 drivers into Toyota showrooms....hardly. It's the commercials! Nissans ad dept. is the cause of low Titan sales, and nothing else!

That's ALL you have to do. Create enough awareness to get people to test drive one. That's why I bought it instead of the F150.

The general public doesnt have knowledge of the Titan. I cant tell you how may times ive givin rides to my co workers and they all say the same thing."this thing has some balls. Wish my Chevy ran this good." It took me one ride in a Titan to change my mind. I was a die-hard chevy guy. USA-1..old school.
