Well it's now official, said goodbye to the Z today but said hello to a silver 08 Titan XE 2wd with the power pack. It's my 4th Nissan and since I have never left a vehicle stock I'm already looking to do some basic mods. First things on the list are an exhaust, intake, tint, alarm/remote start, gps and a simple stereo system. I'm also going to look at grill inserts and painting the front bumper to match the rest of the truck a little later down the road.

Main duties will be for the longer trips and hauling the bike back and forth to the track.

No pics of the truck....got home to late.

I'm down south of Tucson if their are any other fellow AZ'ers on here.

Edit: Looks like I don't have enough posts to link an img. I'll work on that and get one up tomorrow.

Are you going to do any lift mods? Keep posting so we can see some pics!
Honestly, probably not. I'll end up putting a nice wheel/tire combo on it and that's it. Really enjoy the ride as is and a lifted truck equals worse mileage...I'm already dreading my first fill up.:crying:
Welcome to TT!

I feel the same about the lifts. I really love the look, but it wouldnt be practical for me. I'm looking to do some of the same mods as you, let us know how it goes.

Btw, how did you like the Z? Id like to see my girlfriend get into one as her next car.

Loved the Z, handled like it was on rails and working the 6spd was a dream. Had a Borla cat back exhaust on it so I barley ever listened to my $3k stereo.:jester:

Just wasn't practical so it had to go.
Exactly why I'll get my girlfriend into one as it isnt practical for me.

She will "think" its her car, haha
Im in Tucson....good buy by the way....I like the 08's headlights....look mean...:boxing:

Thanks, I'm up that way quite a bit at the track. I haven't taken the bike up there yet but I've ran my old SRT-4 and Z up there plenty of times.:futwice:
Ok, got some pics, not the best but you get the idea.

One reason I needed a truck.

The other...

It was, my wife was actually more upset than I was and she couldn't even drive the Z(6spd).

I love the space and utility of the Titan and the bike takes care of my need for speed.

Tomorrow I'm getting a custom exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler put on, can't wait.
So how does that new exhaust sound?

Great!! I had changed my mind at the last minute and left a note in my truck when I dropped it off saying I wanted to go flowmaster. I thought the Magnaflow wasn't going to be aggressive enough for me. The install guy called me a couple hours later and said he didn't have a 2-in 1-out that would fit and reassured me I would be happy with the Magnaflow.

I'm glad I stayed with the MF, love the DEEP rumble of the exhaust and the tip he put on it looks sharp too. I'll get some pics and sound clips up tomorrow.:futwice:

I think it sounds best with a load on the engine.
Ok here is a quick and dirty video I just shot with the help of my dogs as you can see.:jester:

Is that a custom installed dog paw in the photo? How much was that and where can I get one?
That sounded awesome, alot better than some of the magnaflow clips I've heard. What size mufflers?

It is an 18" muffler but not the 12258 that is commonly recommended on this forum. I forget the part number.

Just an update, I recieved my NCD spacer lift and Go Rhino Dominator II side steps last night, going to install them this Saturday.

Got the K&N CAI and AVS bug deflector on last night. Look for pics on Sunday.
Here are some updated pics of the the Go Rhino bars and the NCD leveling kit installed.

Next up, some bigger meats.
