I just got 4 new Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires to replace the bald factory Bridgestones on my 05 XE. They are original size 245/75/17, but are LT tires instead of P tires. I've had 2 punctures in the factory tires and wanted something that could handle some light mud and gravel roads down here in Southern Louisiana. These new tires cause a very noticable sway above 45 mph that was not present with factory tires. I assume this is caused by the agressive tread pattern, but am still worried about it. Is this normal with aggresive A/T and mud tires, or should I be calling the Goodyear store? Any advice would be much appriciated. I don't have alot of experience with off road tires.

Can't say what is causing your sway.........but problems with
the belts in a tire can cause sway....belt not aligned
properly within the tire casing etc....
That problem was more common in the early days of
belted radial tires.
