Hey everyone, I've read and learned a lot about our trucks from this site. I've finally joined because my stock passenger side exhaust manifold has finally cracked. It's a 2008 Titan 2wd SE. Flex Fuel if that makes any difference. Pretty basic truck with 132,000 miles on it. I definitely don't want to get rid of it but Id hate to spend any more than I have to (getting old/resale going down). I'm looking at JBA long headers. My understanding is I can put these on myself without welding? Is uprev required? And can I hook the JBA's up to factory exhaust? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks

Being flex fuel you technically dont need it but its like having a really good burger compared to a really good steak. So uprev is better with it. A new set of OEM manifold gaskets also are required.

Cajun Bpipes | shreveport, LA 71129 give us a call this is our specialty. Everything is a direct bolt on no welding required.

You will need catted B pipes to keep the CEL off if you have emissions testing. An Uprev tune is highly recommended to make sure its running optimally and to keep the cats from being burned up prematurely. (flex fuel trucks tend to run too rich with headers and no tune which will cause premature cat failure and another CEL...)

Not sure if Flex-fuel makes a difference, but I had both of mine cracked and replaced at 6 years 10 months (warrantee repair) and then those cracked 4 months ago on my regular fuel '05 Titan. I replaced the entire system with JBA shorty and 40 exhaust and it is badazz.... Yes it cost me over 1800 total, but OEM manifolds are a $1000+ each, so...
