Hey guys I just picked up my Titan a couple weeks ago and since I've just been browsing and reading up on the forums. Its a 2004 Titan LE king cab 4x4 in smoke color. I love this truck, I can't believe it took me so long to ditch my car and get this. However I do have a few questions.

Which intake system gives you the best gains? I have read up a lot on the s&b and it seems like a solid choice but I want the intake with the best gains. Is the s&b a wise choice?

I've also been reading up on the PRG leveling kits, and was wondering if anybody had a picture of the 2" PRG leveling kit on stock rims/tires.

I plan on buying a flowmaster 40 series muffler, but dont know the best place to purchase from, any recommendations? Also should I get bigger exhaust piping with hi-flow cats while I'm at it?

Have you read through some of the stickys in the perfomance section? There's a ton of useful info there on intake and exhaust info. There is one particular thread that had dyno comparisons of different combos on the same truck, not sure if it was one of the stickys though. I'll try and dig that up cuz now it's bothering me....
This one has some of that:

I think Shailey did different runs on his truck with the different CAI's.
According to that link, the volant gave him the most gains. I've also read that the volant is the loudest of all the CAI's. I'm confused because nobody has explained to me what is loud, sucking in the air? or does it rattle or what?

It's loud sucking in the air. Opens up to a pretty throaty sound when it's breathing.
Here is the main thread where I think a lot of what is in the "Best of TT" thread came from:

It's mainly an exhaust thread and some of the poster's conclusions may convince you to not get the Flowmaster 40.

oh ok, that doesn't bother me at all. I don't know why people would complain about that but oh well.

thanks for the link, after reading that I am going to go with the JBA system
no prob man, glad to help! Happy modding!
I actually chose the Volant system because according to a poll it was the most popular at the time. I had never heard of this company until reading about their products on this forum but I am impressed, at least with their intake.

Here's my write-up:
