Hey everyone,

I'm new to the forum. This January I traded in my 2005 Subaru Outback on a new 2017 Titan SV 4x4 Regular Cab with the Comfort/Convenience and Towing package. The purchasing process was frustrating; there were no regular cabs in my state and the first dealer I dealt with was waffling on getting one shipped here. After two weeks I called another dealer the next city over and they had secured the Titan I wanted within two hours. Since receiving the truck I've added a matte black DeeZee toolbox, I'm hoping to get it bed lined soon.

About me, I'm graduating with my Forestry degree in two months and have a job lined up with a nearby state DNR. If anyone has any tree questions I will attempt to answer them.

I look forward to posting here.

Nice looking truck. I have a 2wd regular cab SV with those same packages. Although the price quoted was 26k they I realized after getting home that they had added an extra 450 bucks for fabric/paint protection. Ultimately it wasn't the end of the world, but it still makes me see why so many car dealers have such a negative reputation. I've added a dual bed drawer, a navigation rear view mirror, Polk 6.5 speakers (can't believe there are no speakers in the back), LED headlights, heated seats, and rain sensing wiper activator.

So far except for the driver door requiring an extra heavy push or pull to close, I've had no complaints. Plenty of power, awesome ride and I've averaging over 18 mpg.
