Hey guys,

Just bought a 2004 SE, Off-Road and Big Tow package (Only 14k miles on the truck, pretty crazy). Loving the truck so far, feels like it runs great and everything is in excellent condition.

Considering the truck sat around so much, I'm going to change all of the fluids and get some new tires (it has the original tires on it, worried about the rubber cracking).

Anyways, I don't know **** about trucks but I'm ready to learn! My dad recently passed away and we sold his '86 Ford F-250, I didn't want something that old considering I don't know how to work on it if it breaks down.

If there's anything you guys think I should have checked out on it, please let me know, I know it's low mileage but 12 years isn't exactly brand new. Thanks!

Well?
New shoes (because the sidewalls are probably rotted).
Fluid changes.
Enjoy.
It isn't a sports car but compared to other trucks they sure feel like one.

After the tires and fluids check the belt and hoses. Pay special attention to the transmission hoses that go to the bottom of the radiator.
