Hello everyone. I just picked up an 04 SE 4x4 w/125k from my brother. He did not drive it much or hard but the salt did some damage and maintenance was "optional."

I'm glad I found this site because I've already learned slot about my trucks issues. So far, the radiator broke the day I got it from him (local mechanic thinks I also have a blown head gasket but I did a block test and that did not agree with his assessment), I failed VA inspection for exhaust (appears to be a leak at the secondary cat flange), there is ticking in the engine bay (so far I've read it just the loud injectors but I'll probably install the grounding wires), heater/ac clicks when changing modes (actuators), and there is some body damage. I got it for a good deal but now I'm in for a good deal of work before I can even think of mods.

Thanks for all your previous posts. I got a lot to learn, but I like to learn new things.

Has it already had the mani's replaced? If not, ticking and maybe exhaust leak might be due to the cracked mani's.

Here's a thought. If you put on a procomp lift then you can replace the mani's while the front diff is dropped and make it much easier....

Still original stock. Although I like the idea of the LTs with Cajun Bpipes cash is tight and way to tight for the lift. But if cracked mani I guess I'll have to pull the trigger on the exhaust.

The wives tend to agree with the Cajun sell for two reasons: first they like and respect the Titan and second, they can easily see the value in the sale. Don't be afraid to pitch the package. And whatever you do, do not tell them about the performance gains that naturally come with it. They don't want to hear that. They want to hear about the value of never having to buy inferior factory parts which require outrageous labor charges to install. Cajun is a one time fix.
