My dad recently passed down his truck to me for health reasons. Mostly a Mustang guy in my younger years (11.2 @127mph Gainesville '91), the past 10 years I've had Toyota trucks and loved them. Saying that I absolutely love the Titan. My dad is a retired Master Chief and took care of this truck in a meticulous manner. The only issue is the slip light staying on for a few days and then going off for weeks before coming back on for a few days again. I've read through all the posts here and have a pretty good idea where to start. However, since the slip light being on doesn't seem to affect the truck at all I'm not too concerned. No codes are present and like I said the truck runs great. I've modded every car/truck I've owned so this one will be no different. Mostly cosmetic and audio upgrades ( used to be big into IASCA and a good sounding stereo is a must). From all that I have read so far, Titan owners on this site are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I'm sure I'll be hitting people up for advice and help as my journey into Titan ownership begins. Thanks for reading .

Welcome!

Lets see a pic when you get a chance. The copper color is unique, I dig it. 40k miles is low for an 05...lucky you!

Yeah I'll try to post some pics tomorrow (including the underside) , it's so clean and rust free under there. I usually don't like any color but black for my ride but the Copper is unique and more metallic tan looking. First the chrome mirrors, handles , grill and bumpers have to go. Gonna debadge, it black out the tailgate emblem , black grill, black projectors and smoked tails . I'm still trying to figure out the front bumper and what/how I'm going to get it black. In the end should give it a quasi desert military feel. I hope. The truck is a second vehicle so prob no more than 5000 miles a year.

My slip light did the same thing.
I mostly ignored it.
