Hey guys, excited new Titan owner here. Picked up a 2017 Pro4x in May and am really loving it. It's my first truck, and my only regret is not getting one sooner. I put some bigger tires and wheels on it a couple weeks ago along with a 2" level and 1" block in back. Rides a little rougher now, but it makes up for it in looks :) Does anyone know if a Nissan dealer can adjust my computer so the odometer and speedo are accurate with a bigger tire? And if so, any idea how much they charge?

What size tires do you have now? Don't think a dealer could do anything unless your size is one of the sizes available from the factory on a new Titan. Check out the link below to get speedometer differences. Just put in your old tire size, and then put in your new tire size. Will tell you exactly how much of a difference there is.

Thanks. I went with 295/70r18. They are just over 34". The speedo difference is not a big deal. I'm more concerned about the odometer accuracy.

I'm also curious how to calculate MPG impact. I know my economy went down, but I don't know how much is actual and how much is the computer being off.

That looks awesome. With the 2" level and the 34's, how is rubbing when turning? What brand tires did you go with?

Thanks man. No rubbing at all under any scenario. Tires are Nitto Ridge Grappler 295/70r18. They are actually a bit over 34", 34.3" to be exact. Wheels are 18x9 +20. Any more offset and we'd have issues. I think a 0 would have looked great, a bit more aggressive, but the +20 looks really nice and clean.

Some hand held tuners may be able to calibrate.

I've been looking at the Ridge Grapplers, but haven't found many who have them who can give me their thoughts. What are your thoughts of them so far? I've heard they are fairly quiet.

So far I'm really pleased. They are pretty quiet. There is a little more noise than stock at highway speeds, but it's nothing drastic.

I have only taken them off road once, and they were impressive. I was going uphill on a rock/dirt/mud trail in the rain and didn't even need 4x4.

Hey there Urban, welcome to the site! I am actually FROM Nashville, you should have stayed! Anyways, what was the difference in offset between OE and your aftermarket wheels? I am looking to pick up the SAME size tires and was worried about any rubbing. Thanks!

Hey man, yeah Nashville is one of my favorite cities in America. Lived there for 6 years and didn't think I would ever leave.

I don't remember the offset of the OE wheels. It was plus forty something if I recall correctly. I went with +20, and then there was additional offset from the wider tires. I don't have any rubbing. I think you will if you try to push them out any more. I have been trying to get back to the shop to test fit a +1 to see what happens but haven't had time.

I appreciate it, yeah I was born and raised here and do not plan on going anywhere any time soon! I am also looking into leveling or MINOR lift for my Titan and am just trying to soak up all the knowledge I can for wheels and tires when the time comes. I do not want to jump the gun too early on something I will just have to fix again later lol mods are already expensive enough as it it!
