Hi. I'm new.....lot of firsts for me and came looking for guidance. I just got a 2024 Pro4X. I am coming from a 2010 Frontier that I drove trouble-free for 188k miles until someone decided to smash my truck after I had gotten it ready to pass down to my son. Spent less than $100 on repairs (crank sensor, water heater hoses) in that 188k miles so I am pretty sold on Nissan. I'll put a couple phone pics up but I am not much of a photographer. Love it so far. I was going to get another Frontier but my boys are older and bigger and no one deserves to sit in the back of a mid-size truck. This is my first full-size truck, my first V8, my first 4x4 and so I am learning. I am normally the frugal guy that would get an SV with a package or two but I decided to splurge a little this time. I tried them all because I overthink everything.....F150, Tundra, Ram, Chevy. I thought it was by far the most truck for the money, same as the Frontier was a lot of years ago. My first post was standing at the dealer trying to decide on color.
I think white looks better in pics (and with a lot of black trim/add-ons) than real life, gray is nice but I didn't like it with the orange trim pieces. I ended up in black. The baja looked great but I couldn't see myself in it. It's one of those colors nice to see drive by like all the TRD colors. I've already heard that chewbacca sound from the fan clutch when the AC/Heat is on but dealer said bring it in for an update. I only hear it taking off from a stop or stopping, never while driving. The guy who put the door edge guards and handle cups on must also struggle with installing screen protectors so I'll ask them to redo those. I already ordered my screen protector for the radio. Is there anything else I need to do? On a side note, the lack of aftermarket support is good for my wallet. I couldn't have bought the Tundra and left it how it was for even a day. At least driving the Titan stock through the warranty period should be no problem. I think once I find a new rack, I'll be mostly done. That Decked system looks cool but not sure if I need all that.
