New rear end...Where TF is the breather??

I'm checking to make sure the breath is open....Can't find a nipple/hose/plug anywhere on the housing or axle tubes...Took pics facing down all along the upper parts of the entire housing from backing plate to backing plate...still no sign of any breather...

Found it!
Felt like a welded on brkt of some sort when I was feeling around...I just looked at my pics.
Dealer even has a TSB on not forgetting to re-install the breather from the old rear end...

That is a plug! Nissan was supposed to take your old breather off and put it on your new axle. Same thing happened to me and I drove for a couple of thousand miles before I found it missing and the plug in. That rear end only lasted 5 thousand miles. I would not drive it until you get the vent in or you will build up a bunch of pressure.

There's a TSB out to remind the Techs to take your breather out of the old axle and remove the temporary plug from the new axle, and then to install the breather.

It should be close to this diagram's location.
Edit:
Good you already found it, but sux your techs are incompetent ... this TSB has beeen around for a couple of years.

I knew about the TSB, that's why I checked. I've already drove the heck out of the truck, and I'm sure the old rear end is gone by know, nothing to take parts off of...
Dealer techs...Du-mass
Better to do the Breather Mod, only cost about 10 ucks for the hose and a fuel filter to hang inside your light cavity. Otherwise, take it back, and demand the breather be installed as required by nissan.
I'd be sure to let them know about this. Ridiculous, completely ridiculous. I just wonder how many people out there, without access to these forums, have had crap like this happen to them. Nissan should be ashamed about this. Not only have they failed to recognize that there is in fact a problem here, but they also fudge the so-called fix of the said problem.
Same exact thing happened to me....Called the tech over and asked him if he read the instructions from nissan on how to change out the axle/dif assy . He looked at me kind of funny ( He is a good guy...let me watch him do the 2 degree mod...etc ) Its really simple to swap out the whole assy as it comes from nissan, not much you could get wrong he said....I pointed to the plug and asked where my breather was ?

He looked...then we walked over to my old axle still sitting in the long wooden crate the new one came in...sure enough there was my breather....took all of 2 minutes to pull it off and put it on the new one...but if not done you are gonna have leaky seals before long.
Also, I went right under the truck with him to put it on...and when he cracked that plug loose...it hissed like crazy. The truck was only driven around the block by the tech too ( But is was about 97 -98 degrees out at that time ).
I think I'll just install a 5/16th brass hose barb and then run some hose up to a remote breather...
you would think they would put a red tag on the axle saying to change out the breather or send a new breather attached to a bag on the axle.

Stupidity.
