Those look nice. You can get a set of Moog non-tubular UCA for about half that.

If the design in that picture is correct then it probably does fix the coil bucket contact issue. However, the Moog UCA ad I've seen is a bit deceptive. It shows tubular but they aren't. Be sure you verify tubular with the ebay seller.

ebay uppers have been proven to be horrible. poor clearance, poor ball joints, and poor alignments. you get what you pay for. For an OEM upper, MOOG is great. For a aftermarket upper, rough country is eh, but stick with the proven ones from Dirt King, PRG, and CJD.

If I was you I'd do one of 2 things, do what I did and commit to an aggressive coil bucket trim.. close to 3 hours with a grinder and a can of rubberized undercoating 2 years ago fixed my CBC with OEM UCAs, and no issues in that time (2-38" rise in the front on an 09 4x4). I took off about 70% of the lip off and a little more than a half inch of the front dome, then coated against rust. It was easy, using my CBC notches as a guide.

OR...Just get DK uppers. They are on my list once I stop being stupid poor (In the works)

i was in the same boat as you and almost bought them ebay UCA's and decided in the end to not take a chance after reading through all the threads regarding Ebay UCA's and most of them were negative with a couple positives. in the end i decided in the longterm i'd be better off with a quality product and decided to spend a little bit more for the DK's!

this guy is selling practically brand new set for $400

I personally think this is horrible advice....
I have often wondered what the consequences could be from removing material from the coil bucket. On a street queen I would think it wouldn't matter much, but a vehicle that sees a lot of off-road activity could have a weakened structure. Then again, if Lee isn't seeing any negative consequences then I doubt many others would either.

I was hesitant about the trim as well, but I went ahead with it because I couldn't take the bang anymore, and because I eventually plan to run hoops at the endgame. I haven't had any issues and it's no secret that I don't baby my titan by any means. However, jury is still out on if it's good advice or bad. Only time will tell. My vote is definitely for dk ucas, just chiming in on another option.

I got a set of silver ones off of ebay. Just put the 3rd set of bushing in (2sets after the ones that came with them). For me they seem to run through a set of bushing every 10k miles or so maybe quicker. Kind of a pain to replace just bc you have to take at the wheel well and cant get a socket on the bolt around the brake line. Noisy too. Got to keep them greased alllllll the time.

Also the ball joint now has some play in it. Wouldn't buy another set of these.
