2005 CC SE big tow pkg 2wd, pretty much stock, cold air intake, and high flow CAT.

I've been running Falken Ziex, 285/60r18 not the factory 265/70r18, for probably 5 years now and have LOVED them but my girl is well overdue for some new rubber. I was disappointed to find the Ziex are no longer available. She's a city girl so no offroad driving, very rarely will even see gravel. I'm looking for something to be as good as the Ziex in wear and traction in the snow and wet and am trying to keep cost as low as possible without giving up these things. I like the look of the 285's but it seems they are going to cost more than the stock size. I will pay a little more for the 285's but not much. Other sizes that will fit welcome.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I've had the Continental Cross Contact LX20's on mine since last winter. Great rain tire, quiet, comfortable and feels very confident even running the highways above the posted speeds. I've sold a lot of tires over the years and base recommendations off of research, not profit. The Goodyear's are making a comeback on there quality but I'm not there yet, saw too many wear/ early noise problems. The only complaint I have on the Conti's is when I travel gravel roads during the summer as the tread will grab and hold onto small stones. In the rain I would give them a "9", snow I can't speak for yet but I bet they'll do great.

I`m running the cooper Discovery HT PLUS (street M&S tire) currently and love these tires. excellent hook up, and excellent wet traction.

otherwise I`m running Hankook ATM RF10`s (1st choice) or Nitto Terra G`s (2nd choice)

you can`t go wrong with Discount Tire!!! awesome people, awesome company.

If I was running a pure street tire I would go with michelin ltx ms2. Have them on my wife's Yukon and they are great. She got 77k out of the last set. Or ltx at2 if you wanted something more agressive while keeping the ride quality
