I just installed my Nitto Trail Grapplers. 285/65r18s These are my first set of aggressive tires. I notice that at low speeds <20 mph, there is a noticable vibration. Is this due to the big tread blocks or something else? I ordered them and had them mounted and balanced by 4wheelparts. The shop said it is probably a bad balancing job or a bad tire. Any ideas? Could it just be the tread pattern? Help please and thanks.

Have them Road Force Balanced and see if that helps. I could be you are just not used to the feeling of a aggressive tire also.

4wheelparts do an excellent job rebalancing my 37" toyo every 3k miles. some tires ared defective. just take their word for it, have them rebalance it and if there is still vibrations, they should give you a new tire.

you should have zero vobrations. i don't have any at all.

well thanks. the nearest 4wp store is 2.5 hours from here. I guess i will call first. They also sent me the wrong size lug nuts so I have to sort that out with them as well. It seems to be getting less noticeable as I drive it more.
