Just bought a left over 2015 4x4 SV..and so far..like it a lot. Got a great deal. After doing more research..i see Titan seems to be the redheaded stepchild of the truck world..with dismal sales..poor resale value..and called everything from 'dated' to 'uninspiring". Just wondering if i made a bad decision..lol. For what i will use it for..it seems more than adequate. Plenty of HP and torque..comfy..roomy..handles well. How many others here regret their purchase..and how many love their Titan? Never thought i'd own a japanese truck coming from 2 older F150's..but so far..other than nasty looks from hundreds of Ram and Ford drivers..it seems like a solid truck.http://www.titantalk.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=428378&stc=1&d=1460504915

I had 5 fords (86 Bronco, 86 F-250, 92 F-250, 01 F-150, 04 F-150), love my Titan over every one of them, never turn back, it has some issues, but ever truck out there does. Take care of it and do some preventive maintenance, be aware of what can go wrong by being informed from this forum (10 times better than any Ford forum). The Titan will last years, mines stayed with me longer than any of the Fords I owned. The Titan is American made, thats why the Dodge and Ford owners give you bad looks, theirs isn't...

Dude, you definitely made a bad choice. You should drive that piece of junk down to my house, with the title, and just leave it in my driveway. I'll make sure it's dealt with in the proper way. I'll even buy you a plane ticket home so you can go get a real truck.

:big_grin::big_grin::big_grin:

The Titan is ****ing awesome. I have had 2 2004 SE 4WD Crew Cabs, both great trucks. Outside of exhaust manifolds, brake rotors and axle seals, they're more or less bulletproof.

Ya man, the Titan is a dud...lol congrats on your purchase! I'm also on my second. Put 225K hard miles on my first T, a 2004. I'm absolutely loving my second. It's a badass 2011 Pro4X! Lots of great info on this site too!

Congrats on the purchase! I'm now on my second Titan (went from an '04 to an '05). You have to take into account that most of the larger vehicle news outlets are of course going to praise the "American" light duty trucks over the "imports", but just go take a look at owner reviews on Edmunds or KBB and you'll see how loved the Titans are. Sure, they suck down gasoline and have a few minor common problems, but overall the engines and drivelines are really strong and you won't have any major problems for the most part. Plus, you've got a great resource in a site like this with essentially 12 years of knowledge on the "old" (non-XD) Titans!

I saw we were ignored in a recent Pickup Crash Test by the Insurance industry just last week. Oh well! About the only thing Japanese is the transmission. Engine, Frame, etc are all made in USA. Enjoy the ride!

I spent countless amounts of money on repairs, parts and tires. My T has almost 200k miles and even though I have other cars, a camaro 1LE and a BMW M235i, I still prefer to drive my truck most of the time. I absolutely love my truck. I just can't quit my T!

I've had mine since 2007 Titan I have over 200000 miles on mine only problem I've had was the drive shaft and the rear seals leaking. I've been everywhere in my Titan. I don't think I would ever buy anything other than a Titan. There's so many people that tell me they wish they had a Titan.

I have a 2004 Titan Endurance 4x4. The only con I have about the truck is the fuel mileage. I have never gotten over 16mpg since the day I bought it. The pros out-weigh the cons. At 130k miles I lifted it 6 inches and put 35-12.50 Coopers on it. No one believes it is as old as it is. The truck has held up to countless rigorous beatings and still runs as well as the day I bought it.

I'm also a new titan owner. My mileage isn't great but oh well if I keep it around 75mph it seems to pull 15.5mpg-16mpg so I can live with that. I looked at tundras and f150s but the tundra was demanding a higher price for a similarly equiped truck and the f150 was not very exciting to me and has had more engine/ trans issues through the years than I like. Who cares what anybody else thinks as long as you are happy with it. For what its worth these trucks sound awesome with a decent muffler. That doesn't help fuel mileage haha.
