What's up guys, I have been lurking for a couple of months and decided to join the club. I bought my Titan from Metro Nissan of Montclair back in February. I traded my 2012 Mazda5 and picked up my brand new Cayenne Red 2015 Nissan Titan CC SV 4X4 with VP. MSRP was $41K and I paid $33K plus fees. Maybe not the deal of the decade but nonetheless a good deal in my eyes. I absolutely love my truck and although it has been a big adjustment coming from a "micro" van I don't regret my purchase. I may have a different opinion if gas prices sky rocket since this thing loves to drink gas like a mutha' but then again I knew what I was getting into. I have already installed HIDs, AEM dry-flow filter, OEM rubber mats, bed extender and a Smittybilt hitch mounted recovery D-ring. I also just received my Flowmaster single exit American Thunder exhaust system that I will be installing this weekend (if wife and/or kids give me permission of course). I am glad to hear many positive stories from owners here as the internet is flooded with nothing short of depressive comments and reviews that make you second guess your choice of truck. I went with a Titan because the other full size trucks just never impressed me in looks and feel. Plus it helped that I had a 2004 Nissan Frontier that I loved dearly about 10 years ago that I had to sell to fit my growing family. Anyway, just thought I introduce myself and say what's up. I am looking forward to many years of ownership, fun and miles with my Titan.

Thank you guys for the welcoming. Noob question that I am sure has gotten talked about over and over again 1 million times here. As you can see my Titan came with the cheapo mirrors. Can I easily swap those nice big OEM tow mirrors in their place? Are they as easy as bolt off unplug, plug new ones and bolt on? Mine are not heated but they are power. Any direction you can point me to will help out. I'd like to get a set of black plastic housing power tow mirrors and swap them out.

I love that color combination - that was the color combo of my 98 Frontier that I bought new, loaded. I have always missed that truck. Yes, the mirrors are plug and play. I swapped mine in about 2 hours, from the time I opened the boxes to the time I wiped the fingerprints off. Once you do one, the second one is simple. Start with the passenger side - there's less crap to unhook so the learning curve is easier.

Thanks jdmartin. Now the next question is do you guys know where I can get them the cheapest? I'd like to stick to OEM and hopefully new or very lightly used. Any part numbers you guys can share?

TIA

I bought mine from a Nissan dealer for $315 shipped. More than the aftermarket ones but the quality makes them definitely worth it. I'm very happy with mine.

What jmartin said and those mirrors also pop up on the classified section of the forum from time to time. That is if you don't mind buying used ones, but it will definitely save you some $$$.
