Hey all new guy here and I just traded my old Frontier for a new CC 4x4 SV and have a couple of questions. I'm actually getting better mileage than I expected (16-17 mpg mixed) but I was wondering if you guys experienced slightly better mpg after break in? Also will it void any warranties if I have the stock muffler replaced with a Flowmaster 50? BTW I just want a little bit of rumble and not concerned about performance gains because I baby my vehicles anyways.

16-17mpg mixed? How did you calculate that?

I drive the same amount daily and its almost exactly a even split between interstate and city driving and the on board display shows 17.1. Also when I purchased my truck they filled the tank and when it was at the half way mark I calculated and it coincided with the on board display.

gratz and my dealership told me that anything after the cats will not void ur warranty because the motor and drive line cannot be affected by how the exhaust is dispensed, which makes sense and they are very picky because they do the lifetime powertrain warranty

Lots of new Titan owners lately. Got my 11 SL with just under 13k miles this Saturday. It was 200 miles away and the computer showed almost 16 MPG. I figure that's not bad at 80 MPH. Have to wait and see what actual mileage this tank is when I refill and hand calculate it.

I agree.

My SL turned over 2,500 miles this weekend. I'm hoping for better mileage when it's broken in.

Congrats on the new Titan!! You will love these trucks!! I've owned two of them now. I put 240K miles on my 04 before I traded her in for my new 2011 :)

Picked up my 2011 Pro-4x CC this past Saturday.. 20 miles when I got it, now has about 200 and I'm averaging 14.2 with mixed driving and being light on the gas.

How does your 2011 compare to your 2004? My 2006 was a brute compared to my 2011. While the 2011 is a quick truck I have no doubt that the 06 would have beat it by a half second in the quarter. I'm wondering if it was the Bully Dog in the 06 or the truck.
