Just curious, Has anybody ever double stacked coil spacers to get extra lift or would that be a bad idea.

The reason I ask, I've thought about putting an aftermarket bumper up front for more turning clearance. Just trying to think of anything other than breaking down and buying a lift. Every bumper I've seen cost just as much as the lift.

Any help would be appreciated!

Supremely bad (read: unsafe) idea. If there's one thing I would recommend doing right, it's your suspension, since it's like the main thing between your rig and the road.

Stiffer springs, adjustable shocks (5100s) or a leveling kit would be much cheaper and safer options if you're just looking for a few extra inches.

Also, welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the input guys, I was thinking that it would not be all that stable, I was just hoping somebody has tried it lol.
I want the lift and bumpers but just having to put a motor in killed that idea.

Keep an eye out in this section. A few members on here pull kits off trucks all the time and post them up for sale. Good way to get one cheap.

I bought the truck with it smoking on start and when you would pull off from an intersection. Everybody I talked to said it was either valve stem seals or rings. Either way was cheaper than parts and labor until LKQ corp screwed me with a bad motor.

I've moved this thread, so the "Buy/Sell" section is where you should be watching.

Carry on.
