speaking of the Nismo CAI, does anyone know that proper way to clean the filter? I know that K&N has a recharging kit. Does Nismo have anything like that? I was told that I can put the filter in warm semi soapy water. What do you guys do?

I use the K&N recharger kit on my Nismo CAI works great

great timing, I'm considering it. Does it have a CARB #? I dont want any hassles when smog time comes up. Only thing is I'd probably go with an APEXi filter instead.

Good question, i'm at the point that I need to figure out how to clean the filter. Any guys that have done this have any ideas??

Just buy a K&N cleaning kit, spray outside with filter cleaner (soak it), let it sit 10 minutes, rinse with tap water slowly from the inside out. I stress slow water so you dont disturb the cotton gause. Tap excess water off, then place filter over a heater or a.c. vent with it running. It will be dry in just a few hours, do not use air from a compressor, it will destoy it. respray with filter oil and you are done.:sunshine:
