I was actually browsing a website the other day and noticed that the OEM step rails are made by someone else.... I am just trying to remember who the manufacturer is. I will post when I find out for you.Sabre66 said:

With me and the wife expecting she's gonna start having a harder time getting into the Titan with each passing day so i've got to get some rails soon. Just don't want to spend the money on the OEM ones if they aren't worth it over the long haul. I really like the looks of the OEM rails and there aren't many aftermarket ones available yet so i'm hoping for positive feedback on them.
Thanx for any input.![]()
I like mine. They make getting in and out a whole lot easier. They also help prevent the accidental seat adjustment issue that others have apparently experienced.Sabre66 said:Those of you with the OEM step rails, how do you like them? That's cool, to each is own. I personally like the look of the dark gray steps and they have relatively large step surfaces, which is good for cleaning the high roof (man that's a reach).1BadTitan said:I think IMO they are tacky! I was gonna get them until I saw westin Bars! And the westins are cheaper. They are $220 at Pepboys. They come in powdercoated black or high polished stainless. And they have a molded black step pad built into the bar for grip. I'm gettin these.
I really like the look of the dark gray step rails on mine, too...I have to confess though, that even though I'm only 5'6'', I bypass them when getting in and out, using the inside 'handle bar' for support...just hate getting boot tracks on the step rail  LOL New truck pride makes me do some strange things :jester:Sabre66 said:That's cool, to each is own. The only Westin steps i like are the Oval Tubes and they don't have them available for the Titan's yet. The chrome Oval Tubes for other trucks from PepBoys are $419.99 + install. If i can get the OEM ones for $339, i'll be getting those. I also need them on before April so time is of the essence, which is why i'm looking at the OEM ones. :teethmast
