A sad and very unfortunate set of events for those folks. I couldn't imagine losing everything like that in a blink of an eye. That being said, the footage of the Titan was impressive.
Ditto on it being for real. I've been nervous quite a bit in my life, but the 27th takes the case. Watched a 1 mile wide one skirt the edge of the plant that I work at. Scary to say the least. The sh1t got REAL down here fellas! I've never thought I was going to die until this event happened. My neighborhood got hit pretty hard too. Not like T-town, but I couldnt leave my house for two days, and we had no power or gas for a week.
This is MY TOWN. Gives me the creeps watching this again. I know these people.![]()
I was watching this one out my front door and waiting to see which way it was going. I have never seen anything like that in my life. It was like torture....I sat in fear of my life for 18 hrs straight.Ditto on it being for real. I've been nervous quite a bit in my life, but the 27th takes the case. Watched a 1 mile wide one skirt the edge of the plant that I work at. Scary to say the least.
Nah, not mine. Just happened to be one that got hit. Think we had over 200 tornadoes that day. Was watching the news last night and still have information coming in from all over. They had originally rated one over on the Mississippi border an EF4, the the NWS went back and done some more estimates and they finally decided on classifying it an EF5. Winds were so strong, that it sucked up portions of asphalt as it crossed the road. Estimated winds of 210 to 215 MPH in that storm. Crazy... Just crazy.... Think this is the same one that came by my work that afternoon. That was a day that I won't soon forget.is that your titan????? or just one you happened to see?? thats nuts!! GLAD YOU GUYS ARE OK... i grew up in north carolina and i can say ive seen MANY tornados in my day and they are not cool..
