I have a 2011 Titan pro4x, I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with breaking upper control arms. I have broke two in a little over a year. What are the best and most affordable upgrades to get? Any help is appreciated.

Curious what you done suspension wise if anything? Also what are you doing when they break?

What kind of suspension setup do you have up front? My suggestion would be the RC UCAs if your on a budget, and if your looking to spend more go for the PRG ones. IMO gofor PRG, you will be happier down the road bc their overall build quality is much better and they are more adjustable. If you ever got any questions shoot me a PM...I know a ton about my 2011 pro-4x suspension bc I've screwed with it so much over the years lolol!

I just have a leveling kit on it now. The fist one broke going over a speed bump. And the most recent which was this past Friday broke pulling into a gas station. I didn't hit anything, I just puled in and heard it snap. The factory control arms are made of really thin metal. When I go over large bumps and pot holes. It sounds like something is hitting up front. I believe it is the control arm hitting the spring cover under it.

Your arms are hitting the coilbucket. Get prg or dirt king arms. 600$.

Yea that would fix the problem. I would do what 250x said...it makes a completely massive difference. Your T will ride 1000x better without having CBC on every little bump.

Sweet! I've got a friend that got the heimed ones like a year ago and they still work like the day he got them. Nice and smooth! Did you get the heimed or bushing ones?

Bushing. I don't do serious enough stuff to warrant the extra money on the heimed.

How big of a spacer do you have on your truck Pepper? If your breaking control arms it must be a pretty big one. aftermarket arms might not fix the issue if your spacer is too big.

Sweet. And yea, thats understandable...to be honest most people that buy the heimed ones (myself included) don't need them either I mainly like the extra piece of mind and they just look cool:rofl:
