In my Chevy the AC blew ice cold to where I would have to run it on low cause it was so cold. On my Titan it's starting to get pretty warm here in Cali and even with limo tint all around the truck gets cool not cold and I have to keep the fan speed pretty high to keep it just cool. It's not a warm its cool so it works but just not as cold as it should. Or are the ac systems on these trucks not that great? I even went out and bought a can of ac pro the gauge read at 35 psi with the compressor engaged but following the instructions on the can the gauge needle with the ambient temperature set right it doesn't even reach the "v" no matter how much I pumped (only did like 3 10 second burts). I called the company and they said that our trucks regulate our psi and blah blah and that I'll never be able to reach the "v". So I guess I wasted my money on that cause the ac blows the same. So is this as cold as my ac is ever going to get? And it's only going to get hotter here.

Mine was a meat locker after about 15 minutes. We routinely ran to and from Pheonix and throughout the California deserts in 110-120 degree Temps all the time. By the 20th mile you had to start backing off the chill.

Yeah it's like 90 here today and on almost full blast it barely blowing cool if you turn down the fan speed it'll get stuffy and warmish in the cab. So am I missing something here? Everything works fine I can switch from heat to cold ac all modes under the hood the compressor works fine cycles and everything. That ac pro stuff didn't work for me I ended up using the rest of it on a Honda and it needed a small amount and it actually worked instantly. The Honda blows colder air than my Titan now.

Yeah, mine will get so cold it runs you out after a little while. And that's in 95-105deg here in the humid southeast.

Your truck is low on refrigerant.

^^^ I agree. My truck runs cold enough in Dallas, I have to back it off after 15 minutes... You have some sort of problem.

So then just go get it recharged and be done with it ? Lol I tried the ac pro crap but it didn't work on my truck but it did on Honda. Guess I'll take it to my local shop see what they say and if they can recharge it for me. Damn can was 40$

I had problems on my 2011, condenser went twice an then there was a pin hole that made the refrigerant slowly leak out. After it was fixed the final time she blew cold again like when she was new.
My 15 blows nice an cold to the point of turning it down like others said.

Aw man I hope it's nothing that bad. Hopefully just a recharge

Crazy how come yours failed on after the other? And where was the leak found?

Thinking about it again, the second condenser was the culprit with the pin hole in it.
Not sure if it had anything to do with my Efans or not, the controller went on it. In the summer of all times the fans would fuk up, ac went shortly after. Coincidence maybe, I'm not sure.

I've seen more than one AC system junked because someone decided that it needed more refrigerant without assessing the system functions. There's about 5 things that can go wrong causing the temp to be off. Keep adding refrig and blowing a compressor up costs extra.

Clogged orifice tubes cause way more problems than low refrigerant. Let a certified tech check it out. It'll be cheaper in the long run.

Yep. Too much refrigerant is as bad, or worse than not enough. New systems have a certain poundage they have to operate correctly. And it ain't much.

Have you ever replaced the in cabin air filters? If they get nasty they can mess up the air flow quite a bit.

So just got back from an ac & radiator specialty shop, they looked it over they hooked up their machines and everything checked out fine. So he recommended I drained it and recharged it. He drained it then hooked up a machine that pressured vacuumed whatever else was in there then recharged it. Also did the dye test and nothing. The ac is running a little bit cooler than before. So I guess this is as cold as it's going to get. He even measured the the temp coming out me it read 49! Sure don't feel like it lol. Oh well thanks for the helps guys. I'll probably rinse out the evaporator occasionally as maintenance
