i wonder what an ITB setup costs for our trucks....i saw a setup on YT with a crazy looking tower filter over the whole intake mani/ITBs.
That ITB setup you are referring too is the VK56 engine that is in Chris Forsberg's Drift 350z and now installed into his Infiniti M56 Drift car as well.
That particular VK56 makes around 420-430rwhp all motor. Apparently, from watching some of Chris Forsberg's earlier videos when his 350z was being built, the VK56 in the car had a raise in compression, and some mild head work and cams. From what I recall, before they installed that ITB setup the engine was making around 380-390rwhp, so apparently with that ITB setup and additional tuning it gained 40-50rwhp.
The VK56 is in need of some CNC head work, set of serious cams, a good ITB setup and some type of standalone, looks like they are using Vi-PEC software.
Wilson Manifolds is one of the only companies I have seen that makes a sheetmetal intake manifold for the VK56. I think it was also used in Chris Forsberg's 350z drift car.
That 660Hp Vk56 in the video, with 15 percent drivetrain loss probably puts down around 540-560rwhp and probably about 460-500ftlbs of torque.
I just emailed Johnson Performance Center in Australia to see if they would give out any specifics/details on the VK56 in the video above.
Australian companies always tackle such unusual projects... maybe this JPC place has a VK56DE stroker kit, or specific set of cams, and different stages of headwork...
