Nitrous

hi everyone i am thinking bout getting nitrous in my truck, i have never run nitrous before and i have a few questions. First of all which is better wet or dry? (i mean easier or harder on your engine) How does it work, do u push a button or does it work according to throttle position? cause i wanna use it every now and then but not all the time, mostly at the track, like i dont want it to come on everytime i floor it. where can i mount it, i have a 2005 kingcab? also what kind of maps do i need to get from uprev when i get my nitrous? any other pointers
