The doo-hickey connected to the doo-hickey on positive battery terminal. I wiggled and jiggled it.... Then the truck would start.
The doo-hickey i am referencing is in the pic. One of them is black. The other is nasty gold color and looks corroded. Have been fighting battery corrossion on positive terminal for a while. New post and paint took care of most of it. But now looks like i have more corrossion fighting to do. Looks like a plug that plugs into positive post fusable link or whatever the contraption is.
Question is... How do i take it apart, and clean it up?

There should be a 10mm bolt that holds that portion to the positive terminal. Undo that and take it off..

I don't believe it's the connectors...how old is your battery? In my car within a week the Positive post would be covered in green corrosion...clean it up and replaced terminal and it came right back....replaced the battery and now no more corrosion

Oh yea, sorry. I know how to disconnect it from the battery.

I am asking if that connector unplugs from the rest of it?
(the piece on the bottom right that is dis-colored)

Yes on the side of it (facing firewall/back of engine) there is a little lock clip...just push it in and slide it out.
