Nov. 4 DFW: Titan Meet at Towne Lake in McKinney
We are having our next meet on Sunday, November 4. We will be meeting at Town Lake Park in McKinney. It is located at 1405 Wilson Creek Parkway (<--MapQuest map link). I hope that there will be a large turnout for this meet.
The meet starts at Noon on Sunday.
We are planning to do a cookout like we usually do. Ray will be cooking up burgers and hot dogs for anyone wanting to have some. As usual, it will be BYOB for drinks.:cheers:
If you want burgers or dogs, it will be$5/person for burgers/hot dogs. If you're bringing wife/GF, kids, friends, etc., it will be the same pricing for them if they want to have some of the grub.
Everybody brings their own drinks.
Chime in soon if you want to make this meet happen, and what your vote is on having ribs. We need to know as soon as possible, as this is only two weeks away, and Ray needs about a week to get the stuff together for the ribs.
Please only reply to this thread if you plan on making it out. I hope to see YOU there.

My suggestion is that all of you that want to do this go ahead and start sending money if you're wanting ribs. Deadline will be this Saturday. This will help determine how much participation we will have. If we have enough people, I will get the funds to Ray and will do this. If we don't get enough response, I can either hold the funds for a later date or refund to those that want theirs back. If you want to go ahead and send funds, send $10 to [email protected] on Paypal.

Sorry guys but I can't commit to anything on this specific weekend. If the meet were another weekend I wouldn't mind doing it at all (I like to fry turkeys) but I'm already pretty booked for this one and don't think I will have the time to do all the prep that is needed. Oh I should be able to make it unless I score some free NASCAR tickets, just won't have time prior to the meet to do turkeys.
oh, I thought you couldn't make it that weekend... scrap what I said... we can skip the turkey and do that next month or something....

Yeah, we had ribs at the last meet. If we do food, let's do burgers and dogs. Quick, cheap and easy and since there's no prep involved, it can be brought to the meet and not have to go through paypal or anything like that.
