Has anyone seen a setup like this on a Titan?
'08 SE King Cab 4x4 with tow package.
The post is one piece, includes the stud to attach the fuse link, then bends down and is crimped to a 4-6 gage wire that goes into the wiring harness.
The dealer is no help. Parts said "Go to AutoZone."
I could not even get the service rep to have a tech look at these pictures to see if they had seen one before.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I want to say that looks like mine.

Adding to that I think for my negative terminal it was broken and Advance attached a new one for me.

Sorry. I did not get all my thoughts into the first post.
I am looking for a part number maybe for the positive terminal.
Or a way to fix the terminal without having to rip into the rest of the wiring harness.
Love the truck, but help from the dealer has been non-existent.

dreep found an even better link. I think this might be the actual part you're looking for though if you just want the terminal.

The terminal on "courtesy parts" diagram stops just past the stud. Its about 3" long. Here is a better picture of my positive terminal.
It actually has a 4g. cable crimped to the end of it. The diagram also shows 2 cables coming off the positive cable holder, which mine has, but I also have this 3rd cable crimped directly to the positive clamp. The clamp is what is throwing me. I can not seem to find anything like it.

And thanks again to everyone for your help.

The only way you can get that type of terminal from Nissan is if you purchase the whole positive cable with harness. Depending on your options it ranges from $183 to $236. I now check all parts and diagrams at nissanpartsdeal.com. I'm not sure about naming websites that are not sponsors and such (I apologize to Titantalk if so), but I have never shopped there. I just look up parts with my VIN and has excellent diagrams. Use your VIN and you will get the exact part numbers you need as well as being able to purchase from them too.

I have the same problem, my terminal is corroded, bought a new terminal like the one dreep posted only to find out when i took the factory terminal apart, part of it was hard wired to heavy guage wire. WTF?

has anyone come up with a work around? It seems crazy that Nissan would put a cheap terminal that falls apart and then make you buy an $200 harness to replace it.

Cut the old terminal off before the bolt, cut the bolt out, stick on the new terminal, tighten it down?

Yep. Just crimp a ring terminal on the end of everything which doesn't already have one, and presto! Fixed!

I have a solid fix for this. Unfortunately my truck is at the body shop and won't get her back till next week. I'll see if I have a picture saved somewhere.
thanks gabriel, i really appreciate it.

My 2007 Titan is at the shop right with this same problem recurring after replacing the +$200.00 harness a few years ago because the thin coppy corroeded away again./

They are trying the idea of attaching a lead ring terminal in place of the corroded copper terminal.
