I've a new 2006 crew cab with about 10k miles on her. Recently the radio has started doing a few strange things: out of the clear blue the channel will change. FOr example, if it is on 630 AM, it will flip to 640 or 620. SOmetimes it will flip back again. Any ideas?

Thats very strange.... I'd say take it back and have the dealer give you a new one.

Maybe the switch in the steering wheel is bad or has a short. Press hard on the plastic around the switch and see if it acts up again.

I had that problem on my 04 awhile back...it would switch from the FM preset up from say 100.7 to 100.9 or down to 100.4 - did this for bout a month or so for no reason....then within a few seconds go back to the preset - <knock on wood> the problem stopped probably about a month ago and have not seen it again

Had my ac knobs do that on my armada when i first got it. After a few weeks I guess it worked itself out.

If it persists I would have them change out the steering wheel controls and then the radio. Probably hard to reproduce though. If stil new I'd get your sales guy and maybe sales manager to help with it through the service dept.

My radio had an issue with the tuning controls not working. The dealership replaced it. If you hit the right round dial to adjust the bass and treble it wouldnt do anything.
