GMC had this problem in the Arcadia when they came out. Eventually there was a software flash available to fix it. Not for a bit tho. You may have to deal with it for months before they have a update flash for soft shifts. I would not worry until then.Brand new Titan 1500.......anyone experiencing odd, hesitant, or indecisive shifting?
Ya....you def feel the unsure shifting while going up a hill, if you stay constant on the gas (not hammering down on it) it seems to go back and forth between gears. RPM up, RPM down, RPM up, RPM down etc.
I spoke to the dealership which informed me there is a bevy of updates for this truck including a tranny update which should take care of it. I'll have this completed at its first service within the next month and let you all know.

Well when I did go to the dealership I was very specific that it was a non XD. Unless he wasn't "hearing" me.........we shall see......service due in a couple weeks
if uprev works on the new ones, torque command map could fix that.No updates
tested the tranny and all was fine. Guess will have to wait for the update to fix the odd shifting. ****ty but will sit tight.
