Check your owners manual, you didn't put the jack in the right place( I have done this also). Also assuming you have factory tires.dough said:

Come to find out the OEM sissor jack will not lift the truck high enough off the ground to change the 18" tires.
So I was wondering if I should just cut up some piece of 2x8 to carry with me to help raise the jack the next time it happens or go ahead and carry a floor jack with me?
According to the owners manual the jack should be placed in a spot under the front door to remove the front tires. Maybe I'm missing something here.Check your owners manual, you didn't put the jack in the right place( I have done this also). Also assuming you have factory tires.
Yep, something isn't right. I think there is an arrow stamped on the frame where the jack is suppose to lift.rodney said:$10 said you tried to pick it up from the pinch weld on the body, NOT the frame.
