hey all,

i have a 2005 2x4 titan with 20x8.5 rims and 285-50/20 general grappler tires.

for my next set of tires, i wanted to go with an off road tire, but my concern was getting an off road tire on a 20' rim to fit a 2x4 truck without rubbing fenders, suspension, etc..

i figured that a 285-55/20 would work, but i could only find 1 tire in that size:
tirerack.com/tires/Sizes.jsp?make=BFGoodrich&model=All-Terrain+T%2FA+KO&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes&partnum=855SR0ATAKORWL
but i didnt want to pay $328.00 per tire (ouch)

so i started looking at pro comp all terrain (under $200 per tire)
4wheelparts.com/PPT3357T100001.aspx
i know that a 275-55/20 would definately work, but what about a 275-60/20?
that would put the tire slightly over the stock tire's diameter and width.
265-70/18 = 10.4x32.6
275-55/20 = 10.7x31.9
275-60/20 = 10.7x32.9

anyone have any knowledge or experience on this?

thanks in advance.

well i think with that big of a wheel and tire set up id swap out for some 18's and a bigger tire. also i dont think you rims would look too good on offroad tires, those are more low profile street slicks if you ask me. but hey maybe someone wants to trade ya ! lol
