Oiled Air Filter and Electric Fan Questions

647 6
I have two quick things I'm wondering about.

1. What happens if you clean an oiled filter, don't reoil it, and then reuse it?

2. Has anyone done an electric fan conversion? Are there any downsides or problems that can arise? Is there a write-up on it?

*Edit* Make that 3.
3. What's the best gear to make dyno pulls in? 3rd or 4th?

You have to re-oil.

I know that, but what if you don't? What would happen?
It will alow a ton of fine dirt particles to pass through the filter and into the engine.

So a dry filter would just have a finer/better filtering material, which would pretty much be the only difference?

I would think deeper pleats and more media layers.
