They add power not MPG. Look at it like this, you can add 30 hp/tq with the addition of a CAI and tuner and still get 14 mpg You can baby it or race some punk in a civic at a light!!

^^^ Ditto ^^^ Although I did add 1/2 a MPG with my CAI.

(Edit) ... but I drive most all highway and I lost 2 MPG with my new tires, lol.
