My battery is on it's way out and have been wanting to get an Optima yellow-top battery for some time as I have a lot of extra goodies in the truck.

Is anyone using an Optima battery in their rig? If so, are you using the D35 or D27F?

I have seen some people getting by with the D35 but Optima's website recommends the D27F for the Titan.

It's just almost $300!!! Lol

I've had my Odyssey for about 8 years, and it too was $300. Well worth it. Cheap in the long run as it can recover from accidentally being discharged and last longer, so no jump starts from cold weather, ever.

Yep these are pricey but worth it the main thing for me is they recover from being discharged instead of just dying like most lead acid batteries. For example I have one in my cima where I run a fridge for 10 hours twice a week, it drags a lot of power out of the battery but it always recovers during the next decent drive.

while they are expensive they I've lasted longer for me too, 4-6 years

Advance Auto Parts has the D35 Yellow Top and if you use the promo code "SAVINGS" you can get it for $192 after core charge.
Saved $50 and didn't have to wait for shipping. Not too shabby
