So long story short:
2012 Pro4x 4x4
Installed JBA Headers, Cajun B-Pipes and JBA Catback back in January. Worked with Jeff and Joe and service was great. Since the install, I have been getting a CEL with P0430 on Bank 2. When I did the install, I replaced the studs, bolts, and gaskets with OEM parts. I can hear somewhat of a ticking under heavy acceleration, and almost a rasp on a cold start up. I have had this code since the install. I re tightened the passenger side for a third time yesterday, and replaced the O2 sensor as well. The code came back within 30 miles of driving whereas it used to take about 200.

I have read and read but cant really figure out what do next. A buddy of mine suggested that the gasket could have failed causing a leak. That doesn't make sense because of it doing it from the start.

I think it is leaking, but also not sure if my mind is playing tricks on me and it is just the noise of LT headers.

Any thoughts here? I am home and have some time to tackle this. I travel for my job and haven't had time to mess with this until now.

Since you already went for the b pipe connection, my next suggestion would be to retorque the nuts at the headers.

I'm in the same boat. I get P0430 about every 300 miles. I'm not convinced that the problem is at the engine/header connection.

Here is a link to a thread I found, although no solution
http://www.titantalk.com/forums/tit...430-after-jba-shorty-hi-flow-cat-install.html

Ill check the rest of the exhaust and the intake as suggested here

Maybe someone will chime in with a known solution, sucks for us guys with headers and cats.

It could also be the sensor, try swapping them left to right and see if the same code comes back
Swapped it with a new one, still same result

You should use cipher to double check your afr's. A small air leak can cause a rich condition, which could have possibly ruined your cats.

Yea I have the catted Cajun b pipes.

Just took a mechanic for a ride and stomped it a bit. Says he can't hear any leaks.

Hopefully will get it up on the lift later and take a better look around.

Also have my diff lock and slip lights blinking and coming on intermittently, then the abs/vdc/tc stays on. So taking a look at that as well.

I will run a log on my way home today and take a look, thanks for the idea

If it's not a sensor you might need extended bungs. I have JBA's and Cajun cats and I was getting an error code as well. I put these in and they went away, never to return.

are you using those on all 4? or just the front ones?
Was going to ask the same thing, I would imagine the top/upstream for sure. As for the backs I don't know

I have JBA Shorties with highflow cats. After the install, i still got cat codes after a while, so I installed a couple of those extenders in the down stream O2 sensors. It worked for a long while, but a couple of weeks a go I started getting codes again. I'm still troubleshooting my issues, but I too am a bit frustrated.

Do you have Uprev??

If not then that is the issue as JBA shorty headers with "FACTORY" cats is the only option to guarantee no CEL with JBA headers.

No, I'd like to, but now I'm wondering if the truck needs something else first since I started getting CELs again after running good for so long. That's part of my frustration.

I run them in the B-Pipes. From what I understand the upstream ones are there only to read the AFRs and the rears are to report how well the top cats are doing. I have long tubes, cajun cats and gibson 3" stainless setup.

Thanks that makes sense now. I'll give that a shot. I was thinking that they didn't do much because I gutted my original rear cats with factory headers and no CELs. But now I'm running headers and high flows so that changes everything

As for the other lights, changing the diff fluid last night seems to maybe (fingers crossed) have fixed the other problem. I also put it in 4lo and engaged the diff lock a few times. Also cleaned the diff switch.
I was getting the diff lock / tc lights flickering then once they were on for 30 seconds or so they cut out and the abs/vdc/tc would stay on until you turned the truck off.
