Wow big difference, looks to be brand new...what type of paint did you use?

I used Rust-Oleum Bed Liner Paint. 1 can gave all 3 pieces 3 coats. i wet sanded them a little bit,cleaned them off and painted them.

And they are not hard to take off if you take your time starting at one end and push the tabs in as you go. i broke 2 tabs on 1 side but that was because i got in a hurry and pulled to much. a butter knife works great to push the tabs with cause it's thin and can get under the caps better than a screw driver. The tail gate cap comes off the same way but the back left and right corners of the cap has some sort of glue that helps them stick to the tail gate, i just slid the knife through the glued part til it came loose.

Plus if you was to break to many tabs you could always use double sided tape when you put them back on.

Does anyone make diamondplate or otherwise metal bed caps for our trucks? i know they are an odd shape compared to other truckss i was jw
