Does that paint recommend a primer coat? Krylon has a paint that is designed for primerless application to plastics, and works very well. "Fusion", I'm sure you've heard of it. They don't have Metallic though I don't think. I've used I think it is called Pepper Red (Bright Red), cause Red makes it go faster... Your color selection is going to look real good!

I need to retrim for my CIA Ram Air Tube and repaint for a better finish, may get a new cover instead of stripping it.

Regular Krylon Gloss White, or Krylon Fusion Gloss White? Thanks.

Using Fusion as a Primer, opens more possibilities for Finish Coat, as you're doing!
