Hello.
I replaced the rear seal and bearings on both sides.
After putting the axles back in place there is some movement, but very little. I read somewhere that is okay.
As for the parking brake, I got it to not rub when I rotate the rotor except in one spot. In other words, I can rotate the rotor easily without rubbing almost the full 360 degrees. There is one spot where it rubs.
Where does it rub? Good question. I have not been able to find out where that is happening. It does not seem to be the ebrake pads, but I could be wrong. I think the rotors are rubbing against the shield somewhere.
1. I don't think the rotor is warped, as I have a new replacement and it does the same thing.
2. Can't be the parking brake pads, otherwise it would rub the full 360.
So I am thinking the axle is ever so slightly bent or, the place you put the rotor on.
This happens on both sides.
Anyone can help with what is going on, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
