Various news agencies are reporting that a number of Japanese manufacturers are suspending operations because of the earthquake/tsunami. While I haven't seen Nissan mentioned, other auto companies have said they are shutting down temporarily. Implications are expected to be global.

great question. In a time where most places are cutting inventory to keep costs down, it'll be interesting to see how this impacts the ability to get replacement parts. I'm sure the wholesalers have limited stock.

Its terrible whats happening in Japan. But if this is true, it might force Americans to purchase Made in the USA products and boost our economy a tad bit. (just my .02)

I have no problem buying from Japan, it's always good quality stuff.

It's the crap from China I hate buying.
