Recently installed a DD stereo to replace the OEM radio/CD player in my '04 Titan. Install went fine, but for some reason the passenger seat belt indicator light on my dash now flashes no matter whether someone is sitting in the passenger seat or not. In case you're wondering, I did reconnect the passenger seat belt harness to the light on the console that is just below the radio. I've tried disconnecting both electrical clips under the passenger side seat, but the light continues to flash. Not sure where the issue is, but it is certainly annoying and I would love to turn it off. I didn't think a radio install would be connected to the passenger seatbelt, but apparently something is.

Any suggestions?

Common problem when replacing the OEM HU. See the first 'sticky' in the "Video & audio Discussion" ie, 'seat belt light on'.
Dang, didn't even think about there being a sticky for this. :frown:

I'm usually pretty good at finding stuff like that, but I was in a hurry and now I am embarrassed. Thank man!

So much for being "mechanically inclined". :frown:

I've tried the "reset" three times now and I still have the flashing light. Can this code be reset with an OBDII reader?
